The Saudi security agencies have so far arrested 1,192, 498 illegal expatriates since the police clampdown was first launched on the 26th of October 2017.
A total of 883, 398 were found in breach of the residence regulations, 211, 588 violated the labour market rules and 97,512 infringed upn the border security.
The security agencies arrested 17,846 infiltrators as they were attempting to enter the Saudi territories – including Yemenis (54%), Ethiopians (43%), and other nationalities (3%).
A total of 781 other illegal expatriates were also apprehended while attempting to leave Saudi Arabia through the borders.
The authorities have also taken legal measures against 396 Saudi nationals accused of transporting, sheltering and employing illegal expats.
