Moroccan Woman And Three Others Arrested For Smuggling 3.6 Million Narcotic Pills In Riyadh

n a major drug bust, four foreigners, including a Moroccan woman, were apprehended for smuggling a whopping 3.6 million amphetamine tablets in Riyadh. According to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC), the suspects, two Jordanians, a Syrian, and an Egyptian, arrived in the Kingdom on a visit visa and were arrested while receiving the consignment of drugs.
The GDNC has been implementing several protective programs to curb drug abuse in Saudi Arabia. With the rising cases of drug addiction, the administration is organizing campaigns to educate the youth about the harmful effects of narcotics. The suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution after taking necessary legal measures against them.
