According to the General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia, trucks moving in the right lane allow other vehicles to drive smoothly.

The official Twitter handle of Saudi Moroor has warned trucks and heavy equipment vehicles of not adhering to the right lane designated to them. It states that violators violate the traffic law, which carries a fine of between 3,000 and 6,000 riyals.

The official daily Umm Al-Qura published Saleh Al-Jasser's decision regarding the guidelines and requirements for moving vehicles with double trailers on the roadways.

The following requirements must be met by the establishment requesting a transport authorization under Article 4 of Traffic Law:

1. Requesting a truck transport permit through Ministry-approved channels is the first step.

2. As a second step, the establishment must obtain a license from the Authority for the business of transporting products.

3. There must be a valid operating card in the applicant's name on the transport vehicle.

4. The route for the double-trailer truck should include ramps, roundabouts, intersections, and bridges that are appropriate for driving the truck and are separated in both directions.

5. If the designated route is not under the Ministry's control, the truck owner must obtain a permit from the organization overseeing the road and its facilities.

6. A recognized organization's approval for the make-up of double-trailer trucks.

7. According to the approved standard specifications, identify any of the following transport vehicles used in the double-trailer truck.

- As long as the locomotive has at least two rear axles, it may tow a trailer with intermediate axles by using a traction pole securely fastened to the trailer's chassis.

- Single cargo truck that is towing a semi-trailer with (authorized towing equipment) and has at least two axles at the rear.

- When the locomotive has at least two rear axles, it can tow another semitrailer with a towing tray.

8. All manufacturers of the double-trailer truck and its parts must be authorized by the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality.

9. According to the regulations governing the activity of transporting goods, the mechanism for its implementation, and any amendments to them, the driver must be qualified to operate trucks with double trailers. In order to accomplish this, the driver must possess the following skills:

* A valid driving license of the appropriate category, issued in accordance with the traffic law and its implementing regulations, is granted for a minimum of two years. In addition to obtaining a legitimate professional driver's license.
