TGA announces the launch of automated monitoring services for violations of specialized transport and education buses in cooperation with the advanced traffic safety project in Saudi Arabia.

Beginning on 1st February 2023, automatic monitoring will ensure regularity and quality of buses and maintain and enhance public safety.

As a result, traffic safety will be enhanced and bus quality and regularity will be ensured.

The TGA authority explained that the automated monitoring will contribute in the following.

* Maintaining public safety and enhancing traffic safety.

* Ensuring that the technical requirements of buses are applied.

* Assuring quality and compliance for specialized bus transportation and educational transportation.

* Facilitating the emission of carbon dioxide from buses.

The violations that will be monitored by specialized buses and educational transport are

1. Without an operating card, operating a bus is impossible.

2. Using an expired bus card.

3. The use of the bus for a period longer than its approved operational life.
