Fine In Saudi Arabia For Failing To Use Child Safety Seats
Category: Traffic

Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) has called for the provision of child seats in vehicles.

In order to enhance traffic safety inside the vehicle, Saudi Moroor emphasized the importance of providing a place for children to sit.

Traffic officials in the Kingdom explained that not using child safety seats is a traffic violation, and fines range from 300 to 500 riyals.

Saudi Moroor also points out that one of the wrong actions that result from a driver's negligence is letting children out of the car window while it is moving.

It also warns passengers against sitting in places not designated for them in the vehicle as it is hazardous to their safety and constitutes a traffic violation.

According to the Saudi Arabian Traffic Department earlier this year, knowing the road well due to frequent passing through it does not mean that you should not pay attention to it when driving, since unexpected external factors can cause traffic accidents and adversely affect road safety.
