879 Eateries Shut During Municipality Inspections In Jeddah

The municipality had conducted over 5,600 inspection tours around food establishments and issued warning to 1,874 establishments for violating health requirements. The inspections included touring around restaurants, cafeterias, glossary shops, pastry shops, nuts shops, butcheries and kiosks. Among the locations visited were food processing sites which operate without licenses and employ individuals without health IDs.
