Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir criticized Germany's decision to ban arms exports targeting the Kingdom, describing it as a "mistake" and "illogical".
Al-Jubeir confirmed, during an interview with the German news agency DPA, that the Kingdom does not need German military equipment, pointing out that the idea of stopping arms sales to the Kingdom because of the Yemen war is illogical.
He indicated that the Kingdom has purchase options from several other countries, and it is already doing so, pointing out that the war in Yemen is legitimate. And that the kingdom was forced to fight it.
