Vehicles Entering Saudi Arabia From Qatar Without A Prior Permit Will Be Turned Back
Category: Travel

Saudi Public Security has announced that any vehicle entering Saudi Arabia from Qatar without a prior permit will be turned back.

Qatar requires prior permission for GCC citizens and expats to enter the country with their private vehicles.

According to a statement issued yesterday, vehicles that do not have a parking reservation on the Qatari side and those without a reservation for bus services at the Salwa border crossing will also be returned.

Travellers with their private vehicles who wish to go to Qatar must get a permit for the vehicle at least 12 hours before their trip.

GCC citizens and residents who are not World Cup ticket holders will be allowed to enter Qatar through its various ports without a Hayya card, the Qatari Ministry of Interior announced earlier this week.
