In an extraordinary leap from vision to reality, The Red Sea destination has thrown open its doors to the world, marking an iconic moment in Saudi Arabia's journey toward becoming a premier global tourist hotspot.

Established as a visionary giga-project in 2018, The Red Sea now promises to redefine luxury travel, offering an exclusive, diverse, and exhilarating experience that impeccably aligns with the ambitious objectives of Vision 2030.

This recent opening is a monumental step forward in bringing Vision 2030's promise to life, where The Red Sea's natural diversity takes center stage through its 'See beyond' campaign – an invitation to explore a world of adventure, luxury, and tradition that stretches beyond the horizon.

Headed by CEO John Pagano, The Red Sea Project stands as one of the most timely and deliverable giga-projects. It has achieved several significant milestones, including the endorsement of its masterplan by King Salman, the unveiling of the breathtaking Coral Bloom designs by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and its expansion into Red Sea Global, among other accomplishments.

The initial phase of the project introduces three luxurious resorts: The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, Six Senses Southern Dunes, and Nujuma, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

At the heart of this remarkable destination, you'll discover The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, a haven nestled on the secluded Ummahat Island. With 90 avant-garde villas amidst a thriving coral reef, this resort offers an exquisite living experience accessible by a short boat or seaplane ride.

Committed to preserving a diverse ecosystem, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort offers high-tech fitness facilities, a kids club, and a state-of-the-art spa and pool. The St. Regis Butler Service ensures personalized attention, while three distinct restaurants offer exceptional fine dining.

Adjacent to the Oasis complex, Six Senses Southern Dunes complements the landscape with 36 guest rooms, suites, and 40-pool villas inspired by the dunes' shape, reflecting the rich tones and textures of the Saudi Arabian desert.

The Red Sea is not just a destination; it's a promise of seamless, personalized experiences. Activities include scuba diving, PADI dive courses, snorkeling excursions, gravel biking, trail running, hiking, and engaging with the local community through cultural experiences, art installations, farmers' markets, and culinary adventures.

The nature-focused experiences extend to astrophotography, bird watching, mangrove seeding, and turtle hatch monitoring.

Spanning an impressive 28,000 square kilometers, The Red Sea boasts over 90 pristine islands, dormant volcanoes, mountain canyons, and historical sites. With its international airport, this destination is a mere three-hour journey for 250 million people, bridging Europe, Asia, and Africa.

By 2030, The Red Sea destination will host 50 resorts, providing over 8,000 hotel rooms and more than 1,000 residential properties across 22 islands and six inland sites. It will feature luxury marinas, golf courses, entertainment, F&B, and leisure facilities.

The grand opening of The Red Sea welcomed a delegation of Saudi ministers and visionary leaders as its first guests. They arrived via Red Sea International Airport (RSI) on a special-edition SAUDIA flight bearing the prestigious number SV2030, underscoring the significance of this moment in realizing the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The inaugural seaplane flight operated by subsidiary company Fly Red Sea symbolized the momentous occasion, taking guests to The Red Sea’s island resorts across crystal-clear waters.

The inauguration of The Red Sea destination not only elevates luxury tourism but also embodies the transformative vision of Vision 2030, making it a true wonder of Saudi Arabia's journey.
