Ahead of the Ramadan Umrah season, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has designated specific gates at the Grand Mosque in Makkah to facilitate the entry and exit of pilgrims.
In collaboration with various government agencies, these arrangements aim to accommodate the influx of millions of pilgrims from around the world during the blessed month of Ramadan. Saudi authorities have taken extensive measures to ensure the comfort and convenience of pilgrims and worshippers throughout their rituals.
Umrah pilgrims can access the Grand Mosque through designated gates such as King Abdulaziz Gate, King Fahd Gate, Umrah Gate, and Al-Salam Gate, along with numerous ground floor doors and stairways. Similarly, designated exits have been identified to streamline the flow of visitors, including side crossings, stairways, and specific gates.
