A disheartening incident unfolded in Jubail, Eastern Province, where an elderly man who had gone missing was tragically discovered deceased. The Forsan Sharqiah Association for Search and Rescue shared the somber news that the body of 82-year-old Omar Sirajuddeen was found in the Al-Fadhili area, approximately 35 kilometers from Jubail.

Adel Al-Qahtani, the executive director of the association, recounted the efforts involved in this distressing search. Upon receiving information about the missing elderly man from Jubail Industrial City, the association's members initiated an extensive search, leading to the discovery of the missing man's car.

Al-Qahtani explained that the search team then adjusted their approach, conducting an on-foot search for the missing individual. Tragically, after just 20 minutes, association member Marai Al-Shehri located the elderly man, but regrettably, he had already passed away.

The association expressed gratitude to all who assisted in this mission, including government agencies such as the Jubail Police, Criminal Investigation Department, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, and the Association of Professionals for Search and Rescue.

It's important to note that images of the missing elderly man and his car were circulated on social media to aid in the search efforts from the very beginning.
