From Thursday through Monday, most regions of Saudi Arabia will see thunderstorms, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM)
Saudi cities may experience rain, as well as hail, fast active downward currents, elevated dust, and low horizontal visibility, according to the NCM.
Rains are also expected from Thursday to Monday, which could reach heavy rains leading to torrential downpours in most of the Hail region, including Hail, Baqaa, Al-Ghazalah, and Ash Shinan.
Makkah, Madinah, the eastern region (Al-Sharqiya), and the northern region are other Saudi regions that may experience rain.
It is anticipated that AlUla, Yanbu, Mahd, Nairyah, Qaryat Al Ulya, Wadi Al Fora'a, Al Henakiyah, Khaybar, Al Ais, Badr Hafar Al Batin, Khafji, Northern Borders Province, Arar, Rafha, Taif, Al-Jumum, Al Kamil, Khulais, Maysaan could be affected.
Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Makkah, and the northern border are expected to receive moderate rainfall, while Jeddah, Umluj, Sakaka, Tayma, Al-Wajh, Dumah Al Jandal, Al-Qurayyat, Turaif, Tubarjal, Rabigh, Al-Qunfudhah, Al-Lith, Al-Ardiyat and Adham are likely to experience wet conditions.
NCM confirmed that thunderclouds will be accompanied by active winds during the same period in Riyadh, Qassim, Tabuk, Asir, Jazan, and Al-Baha.
