In Saudi Arabia, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) responded to an inquiry regarding the conditions that must be met for the entry of animals from abroad.
To complete the animal entry process, the following conditions must be met by the ZATCA authority.
* A birth certificate of the animal.
* A certificate of safety from epidemic diseases.
* Animal Quarantine Division of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture must approve imports.
- Earlier this, A person in his inquiry to ZATCA asked, "Is there a possibility of transferring love birds from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia?".
The Zakat, Tax and Customs authority clarified in response that it is permissible to import animals with the same above requirements, both when imported from abroad and when imported into the Kingdom.
