The Saudi Government Investigates Allegations Of Violence At An Orphanage

Video clips purporting to show the storming of an orphanage in a provincial area have been investigated by Saudi Arabia.
According to authorities in Assir, a video and image circulated online about an alleged incident inside a social education facility in Khamis Mushait governorate was circulated on social media. According to Saudi news agency SPA, Assir Governor Prince Turki bin Talal has set up a committee to investigate the incident and all those involved.
According to the alleged clips, baton-wielding men attacked girls inside an orphanage in Khamis Mushait with the presence of security personnel.
There was no indication of when the incident occurred or what caused it.
