The Prophet’s Mosque Agency, in collaboration with relevant authorities, has introduced an innovative approach to enhance the Rawdah Sharif visit experience at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Utilizing cutting-edge digital technologies, visitors are now required to scan a barcode at automated gates for hassle-free entry into the sacred Rawdah Sharif.
Initiating the Rawdah visit process begins through the user-friendly Nusuk platform. Visitors receive step-by-step instructions in multiple languages to facilitate a smooth and informed visit. Upon successful reservation via the application, a confirmation message is sent, and a reminder is issued 24 hours before the scheduled visit. The barcode is only activated at the specified time, ensuring optimal security and efficiency.
Upon arrival at the Prophet’s Mosque courtyards, visitors are guided to designated entrances via informative screens. Trained staff assist visitors through each stage of the visit. Before entering the Rawdah Sharif, visitors are required to scan their barcodes at automated gates. Subsequently, they proceed to the waiting area and then to the entry grouping. Visitors with inactive permits during non-designated times will be redirected through specified areas.
A dedicated path is provided for individuals with special needs, and opening areas are determined based on Rawdah Sharif's capacity. Electronic screens in multiple languages educate visitors on proper visit etiquette, while comfortable waiting areas are strategically placed. Visitors are directed to the Rawdah Sharif entrance via organized paths, adhering to a set schedule. Upon the conclusion of their visit, attendees are guided to designated exits.
Advanced digital systems, employing smart cameras and sensors, monitor the movement patterns of entry and exit. Interactive thermal and geographical maps provide real-time data on visitor numbers. Joint control rooms facilitate crowd management, ensuring coordination among all concerned parties. The system issues continuous reports, allowing for swift solutions in case of overcrowding, with a commitment to ongoing development and improvement of services.
