The Russian Sovereign Fund announced the closure of an agreement with the Indian drug group "Hetero" to produce more than 100 million annual doses of the Russian "Sputnik-v" vaccine to curb the spread of emerging Corona virus.
“Hetero, one of the major Indian groups that manufactures generic drugs, has agreed to produce more than 100 million doses of Sputnik-v per year in India,” indicating that the vaccine production process will start in early 2021 said the the sovereign fund that funded the development of the vaccine.
- According to the Jamalia Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology the effectiveness of the Sputnik-V vaccine for Corona reached 95% after 42 days of trials.
- Russian vaccine "Sputnik-V" said in a tweet on Twitter that, the cost of one dose of the Russian vaccine will be less than 10$ for distribution in international markets, as per Al Arabiya.
- The Russian Investment Fund said it will continue to expand agreements with international partners to produce the vaccine to more than 500 million people by 2021.
- The price of the vaccine dose will be much lower than the price of vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna, the official vaccine account on Twitter said in a tweet last Sunday.
- The account said the prices of the "Pfizer" and "Moderna" vaccine doses on one dose for each of them cost 19.50$ and 25-37 dollars, respectively, explaining that the "Pfizer" vaccine will cost 39 dollars, and "Moderna" 50-74 dollars per person, as he needs For 2 doses.
