There are six categories of people who must receive the seasonal influenza vaccine, according to the Health Ministry.
In an infographic posted on its official Twitter account, the ministry clarified that 6 groups of people must receive the vaccine: those with chronic diseases, obese people, children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old.
In addition, those 65 and older, as well as those working in the health sector, are the most in need of getting the vaccine.
Furthermore, kids between the ages of 6 months and 18 years who are receiving long-term aspirin therapy are among those who must receive the vaccine.
According to the ministry, everyone should get the seasonal flu vaccine as soon as possible to protect themselves against the complications of infection. Appointments can be scheduled through the Sehhaty app.
