Weather conditions are expected to cause schools and universities in Jeddah to close on Thursday, according to officials
As a result of the expected rain, the Jeddah Education Directorate suspended studies in all schools of Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais on Thursday.
Based on reports from the National Center of Meteorology, the decision was made to ensure students' safety.
Similarly, King Abdulaziz University and University of Jeddah are based in Jeddah.
Alternative dates will be announced later by King Abdulaziz University for postponed exams.
Civil Defense advised everyone to avoid stagnant rainwater and valleys.
