The Human Rights Commission stated that a child born inside Saudi Arabia to unknown parents has the right to get Saudi nationality. This is as per the rights of the child in national systems.

The commission said, "It is the right of a child born in the Kingdom to unknown parents to get Saudi nationality," and published an infographic on 'Child Rights in National Systems', which states that:

1. He shall be a Saudi who was born inside the Kingdom of unknown parents (According to the Saudi Arabian Nationality System).

2. The state provides integrated health care (health system).

3. It is not held criminally liable for those who did not reach the age of seven at the time the act was committed (the juvenile system).

4. The penalties are increased, if the crime is committed against a child, even if the perpetrator is not aware that the victim is a child (Anti-trafficking Crime Law).

5. Any boy or girl whose father has passed away and is under the age of 18, they will benefit from the pension, and he does not have a capable breadwinner or an adequate source of subsistence (work system).

6. It is not permissible to employ any person who has not completed 15 years of age, and is not permitted to enter the workplace.

7. Whoever commits an act that constitutes an offense as an act of abuse, shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding 1 year, and a fine not exceeding 50,000 riyals, or one of the two penalties (the protection from harm system).

8. It is considered harm or neglect of a child, causing him to drop out of education (child protection system).
