The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, issued several advices on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, calling on everyone to make sure to maintain social distancing and avoid large gatherings.
"I need your attention on your Eid, so be careful, Stay away from shaking hands completely, take care and apply social distancing, and avoid large gatherings." the Minister said it in a tweet on his official Twitter account.
- The Minister continued his tweet, saying, " Go to the Eid prayer with your own carpet, wear the mask constantly, sanitize your hands before and after the Eid, leave a safe distance between you and others."
- He said, "I still remember with sadness Eid Al-Adha of the last year, that time people were careless in applying precautionary measures, due to which the infections increased and resulted in the loss of our 2,000 loved ones", "Please do not make this Eid of sorrows".
- He added, "I am keen on you, and I want your safety", "Beware of kissing or hugging children, even though children infections are minor or without symptoms, but they transmit the infection heavily, so it is important to protect the elders, especially those who did not receive the vaccine", May God preserve your joys and maintain your health.
