Three fishermen were injured when their Saudi boat came under armed attack in the Arabian Gulf territorial waters.
The Saudi Board Guard patrols intervened promptly and rescued the wounded fishermen. A fourth fisherman who was on the same boat escaped unhurt.
The Saudi Board Guard confirmed the rescue operation in its Twitter account, announcing an inquiry into the armed attack.
