The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman announced on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia will sponsor the restoration of Jakarta Islamic Center, following a fire accident last month.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Crown Prince's announcement confirms his interest in Islamic Centers worldwide. In addition to educating young people about tolerant Islam and spreading its message of peace, moderation, and dialogue, they also play an important role in the education of young people.
There are many facilities at the Jakarta Islamic Center, including a mosque with a total area of 2,200 square meters, which can accommodate more than 20,000 worshipers, as well as a research studies center and a conference hall.
