Saudi civil aviation authorities have designated six key airports to receive Muslims participating in the annual Hajj pilgrimage next month. These airports include King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina, Taif International Airport in Taif, King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, Prince Abdulmohsen International Airport in Yanbu, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

The Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation has allocated 3.4 million seats aboard 7,700 flights during the Hajj season, with 13 terminals at the designated airports geared to serve pilgrims. Matarat Holding Company, managing Saudi airports, states that 21,000 employees will assist pilgrims.

To streamline travel procedures, the "passenger without a bag" service is available, allowing travelers to complete all formalities from their residences and ship luggage 24 hours prior to their flight, whether domestic or international.

Saudia, Saudi Arabia's flag carrier, has prepared for the Hajj season by assigning 150 aircraft with over 1.2 million seats to transport pilgrims worldwide.

With over 2 million Muslims projected to attend Hajj, Saudi agencies anticipate record pilgrim numbers following a surge in Umrah pilgrimages during the past Islamic month of Ramadan.

Hajj, an obligatory Islamic duty, is required to be performed at least once in a lifetime by financially and physically capable Muslims.
