A 4.1-magnitude earthquake in southeastern Saudi Arabia was monitored by the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS).
SGS reported that the earthquake occurred at 7:55 a.m. on Sunday.
SCS spokesperson Tariq Aba Al-Khail clarified that the earthquake took place about 240 km from the Saudi border in the Sultanate of Oman's eastern part.
According to Aba Al-Khail, based on the results of the seismic intensity scale, this earthquake has no effect or danger on Saudi lands. "The conditions here in Saudi Arabia are reassuring."
Also, he confirmed that SGS is monitoring earthquakes, analyzing them and determining the causes and ranges of seismic activity, as it has 291 seismic monitoring stations spread across Saudi Arabia in a scientific manner.
