Saudi Arabia And Islamic Countries Are Likely To Observe Eid Al-Fitr On 21st April 2023
Category: Ramadan

The crescent of Shawwal will likely be visible in Islamic nations on Thursday, April 20, marking the end of Ramadan. Thus, Eid Al-Fitr will likely begin on Friday, 21st April 2023.

In some Islamic nations, it may be possible to see the crescent with the naked eye or with a telescope, but it may not be possible in all parts of Asia and Australia.

The majority of Islamic nations may declare the beginning of Shawwal on Friday, April 21, 2023, marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid Al Fitr.

On 29th or 30th Ramadan, Muslims worldwide observe Eid Al Fitr to mark the end of a month-long period of fasting and spiritual reflection.

The official Eid al-Fitr holidays in Saudi Arabia are from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3. Therefore, the kingdom would have a four-day weekend on April 20, 21, 22, and 23.
