Category: Saudi Arabia

The Convenient Transfer Process:

The Ministry of Human Resources has implemented a user-friendly system on the Musaned platform, enabling the seamless transfer of domestic labor services. The process involves simple electronic steps and ensures compliance with the required regulations. The transfer can only take place with the mutual consent of the current employer, the employee, and the prospective new employer. Additionally, the platform facilitates secure e-payment channels for the payment process, adhering to the ministry's fee limits.

Preserving the Rights of Both Parties:

With the introduction of this transfer service, the rights of both employers and employees are protected. A work contract of a specified duration is issued to safeguard the interests of both parties involved in the transfer. This measure ensures transparency and fairness throughout the process, contributing to a harmonious domestic labor market in the Kingdom.

Set Transfer Fees:

To standardize the transfer process, the Ministry has set specific transfer fees for individuals from different countries. These fees are designed to maintain a fair and equitable system for all parties. For instance, transfer fees for workers from Ethiopia, Burundi, Sri Leone, Uganda, Kenya, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Indonesia have been established on the platform.

Regulating the Domestic Labor Market:

Saudi Arabia's labor authorities have been actively working to regulate the domestic labor market in the country. The introduction of the Musaned platform has been a key step in achieving this goal. The platform serves as an official recruitment platform, providing valuable information to customers about their rights, duties, visa issuance, recruitment requests, and the contractual relationship between employers and workers.

Diverse Range of Domestic Workers:

Domestic workers in the Kingdom play vital roles in various households and industries. From housekeepers and drivers to housemaids, cleaners, cooks, guards, farmers, tailors, live-in nurses, tutors, and nannies, they contribute significantly to the nation's functioning.

The new transfer service offered through the Musaned platform is a testament to Saudi Arabia's commitment to creating a well-regulated and fair domestic labor market. By streamlining the transfer process and safeguarding the rights of both employers and employees, the Kingdom takes a crucial step towards a harmonious and productive labor environment. This initiative will undoubtedly contribute to the welfare of all parties concerned and further strengthen the nation's labor sector.
