Riyadh Power Outage Gradually Resolved After Contractor Incident

The Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority reported that a power outage in the Hittin, An Nakheel, Al Aqiq, and Al Ghadeer neighborhoods in Riyadh occurred at 8:33 PM on Tuesday night due to damage to a main power transmission line by a contractor working on an unrelated public project.
The authority announced that power was restored gradually, with 83% of affected customers regaining service within the first hour. The maximum time taken for full restoration did not exceed one hour and 58 minutes.
Reaffirming its dedication to consumer rights and the users of the public electricity network, the authority mentioned that regulatory procedures have been initiated following this incident.
