The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia sets the level to which it is possible to cancel or modify the exit re-entry visa, and the possibility to which the fees paid can be refunded.

Saudi Jawazat clarified that, if an Exit Re-Entry visa is issued, it cannot be modified, but it can be canceled through the employer's or sponsor's Absher platform.

- Jawazat in the Kingdom confirmed that in the event of cancellation of the Exit Re-Entry visa, the paid fees is non-refundable.

Validity of Exit Re-Entry visa :

- The Passports department confirmed that the validity of Exit Re-Entry visa is 3 months from the date of travel, if it is specified in months, In case, if it is specified in days or Return Before, it is calculated from the date of issuance.

Extension of Exit and Re-Entry visa from outside the Kingdom :

Jawazat explained that the Exit Re-Entry visa for those outside Saudi Arabia can be extended electronically after paying the required fees through payment service in Absher platform of employer or sponsor.

Iqama card (Resident ID) Validity :

- The General Directorate of Passports explained that the validity of Iqama card is 5 years from the date of issuance and it is renewed annually electronically through the Employer's Absher platform.
