NEOM has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Asas Al-Muhaileb to build a green concrete factory complex, aimed at accelerating the construction of The Line.

Partnership with Asas Al-Muhaileb

The agreement involves the construction of a SR700 million complex of factories for producing ready-mixed green concrete, designed to support the sustainable development of The Line, a futuristic city within NEOM.

Production Capacity and Technological Innovation

The complex, which will produce over 20,000 cubic meters of ready-mix green concrete daily, incorporates advanced sustainability solutions such as Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) technology and energy-saving processes.

NEOM CEO’s Statement on the Project

Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM, emphasized the project as an essential milestone that highlights Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the construction sector and the significant role local partnerships play in implementing high-efficiency, sustainable projects.

Operational Timeline and Job Creation

Set to start operations next month, the complex will be fully operational by 2025, creating over 500 new local jobs.

The Line Project Progress

As construction on The Line continues rapidly, with 1,000 out of 30,000 foundations already completed, the new factory complex will provide critical support for the project's expansion.
