Musaned replied that if a domestic worker is absent from work, the employer can submit an absenteeism report through the Musaned platform.

What Is a Replacement (Compensatory) Visa?

Musaned also explained that a replacement (compensatory) visa allows an employer to obtain a new domestic worker visa without paying government fees, provided the previous worker permanently leaves Saudi Arabia within 90 days of their first entry into the Kingdom.

Conditions for Obtaining a Replacement Visa

Employers may apply for a replacement visa through Musaned if all of the following conditions are met:

1. The domestic worker must have a Final Exit status in Absher
   The worker's status must show Final Exit on the Absher platform.
2. The worker must leave during the probation period
   The worker must permanently leave Saudi Arabia within the 90-day probation period calculated from the date of first arrival.
3. The employer must remain within the permitted visa limit
   The employer must not exceed the maximum number of domestic worker visas allowed under Saudi regulations.
4. The replacement visa must be issued within two years
   The employer must apply for and issue the replacement visa within two years from the date the domestic worker leaves Saudi Arabia.
