Kuwaiti singer Nawal has become the first Arab female artist to drive in Saudi Arabia.
She joined other Saudi and foreign women, holders of valid licenses, to drive for the first time ever in the Kingdom.
The Kuwaiti singer appeared in a video recording filmed last night as she was driving a car in Riyadh as soon as the ban was lifted.
She hailed the historic step, paying tribute to Saudi women who, she said, deserve to drive their cars.
