According to Rajaa Al-Attas, spokesman of the Jazan Education Department, a quarrel between two students led to an injury at a public secondary school for boys on Tuesday. As soon as the incident occurred, the director general of education in the Jazan region formed a committee to investigate its causes.

It was emphasized by the director general that those who were negligent and failed to address the incident in the appropriate manner will be held accountable to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He confirmed that the student was taken to a hospital immediately after the incident and received the necessary medical care. After undergoing the necessary medical examinations, the student left the hospital the same day. He said the Education Department has followed up on all these developments.

A video clip showing a violent quarrel between two students in the classroom was circulated on social media. Video footage of two classmates exchanging blows was documented by a student.

One of the students is shown in the video falling to the ground motionless as a result of violent blows and receiving first aid before being taken to the hospital.
