Four people lost their lives, and 19 others were injured in a catastrophic traffic accident involving 14 vehicles on the Al Rayn-Bisha road during a severe dust storm. According to the Road Security in the Riyadh region, this tragic incident highlights the dangers of driving in adverse weather conditions.

Emergency Response and Medical Care

Saudi Red Crescent ambulances swiftly transferred the injured to the emergency department at Al Rayn General Hospital. The medical teams provided immediate first aid and conducted thorough examinations revealing various injuries, including multiple fractures, internal bleeding, and minor injuries.

Hospital Transfers and Treatment

The hospital's statement revealed that four cases were transferred to King Saud Medical City and Al-Quway'iyah General Hospital for specialized treatment. Seven cases were admitted to Al Rayn General Hospital for medical follow-up, while eight individuals were discharged after their conditions improved.

Mobilization of Resources

Al Rayn General Hospital reported that it mobilized all its resources to handle the influx of injured patients. The medical staff worked tirelessly to provide urgent care and necessary services, ensuring the stability and recovery of the injured.
