The European Union has announced the availability of five-year Schengen visas for Saudi nationals, marking a significant development in travel regulations.
Under the new guidelines, citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain can now access the EU for a period of five years using a single visa.
Ludovic Pouille, the French ambassador to Riyadh, expressed enthusiasm about the decision, stating, "Excellent news today: Saudi nationals will now be able to benefit from 5-year Schengen visas from their first application!"
This relaxation of visa regulations is expected to streamline travel to and from European countries, fostering greater Arab presence within the EU.
