As the number of pilgrims and visitors in Makkah is currently high, Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh has instructed to conduct Eid Al-Fitr prayer in mosques located in the central area around the Grand Mosque in Makkah. This decision has been made to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and pilgrims during the last ten days of Ramadan.
With 562 mosques now serving visitors and pilgrims during Eid in Makkah, the 27th night of Ramadan alone witnessed an unprecedented number of over 2.6 million pilgrims and worshipers from both inside and outside the Kingdom.
