Domestic Workers In Saudi Arabia Are Not Eligible For The Service Of Dividing Iqama Fees
Category: Expats

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia responded to an inquiry regarding the possibility of splitting iqama fees for domestic workers if desired.

According to Saudi Jawazat, domestic workers are excluded from issuing and renewing iqamas related to work permits, so splitting the fee is not applicable.

Jawazat clarified that the duration of iqama (annual, half-yearly, quarterly) affects the fragmentation of getting a work permit, iqama, and the fees.

To extend a multiple family visit visa, Jawazat explained that the applicant must adhere to visa controls and depart before the visa expires, stating that a delay fine will be imposed three days after the validity of the visa expires.

A single family visit visa can be extended online through the host's Absher account 7 days before its expiration date. To complete the procedure, the visitor must have medical insurance, and the extension cannot exceed 180 days.
