Domestic Workers Are Automatically Dropped From Sponsorship After Six Months Of Expiring Re-entry Visas

Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has announced an alternative to sponsorship of domestic workers.
One of the sponsors asked Saudi Jawazat on its official Twitter handle, "My female domestic workers took Exit Re-entry visas and never returned. I want to get a new visa, while my first domestic worker is still on my sponsorship
In response, Saudi passports department said, "The domestic worker is automatically removed from the sponsored list if she did not return on exit re-entry visa, 6 months after the expiration of the visa
Saudi Jawazat also said that after 30 days of the expiration of the re-entry visa, the re-entry visa can also be dropped via Tawasul service in Absher e-services.
