Saudi women got a taste of freedom when they took to the streets by driving on the roads of Saudi Arabia on June 24.
It was a historic day for them as they were looking forward to this day for many years.
Saudi women flooded social media with their pictures and videos while driving different vehicles on the streets of Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam right after midnight.
In some cases when the women went through police checkpoints, they were offered bouquets by the policemen, photos of which went viral.
Women expressed happiness at the decision of the government to grant them the opportunity to drive.
