Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman reiterated Saudi Arabia's position regarding the Palestinian issue, stating that diplomatic relations with Israel will not be established unless an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital is created.
Shoura Council Opening
The Crown Prince made this statement while inaugurating the first year of the ninth session of the Shoura Council on behalf of King Salman. Shoura Council Speaker Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh and newly appointed members took the oath of office during the session.

In his annual address, the Crown Prince highlighted Saudi Arabia's commitment to the Palestinian cause, reaffirming the Kingdom's rejection of Israel’s occupation and calling for international support for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The Crown Prince also discussed the Kingdom's progress in non-oil sectors, Vision 2030, and achievements such as increasing home ownership, tourism growth, and reduced unemployment.

Non-oil activities contributed to 50% of real GDP in 2023, and unemployment dropped to 7.6% in 2024. The Public Investment Fund continues to play a major role in diversifying the economy.
