Compensation Website Launched For Flood Victims In Jeddah

The Saudi civil defence service has launched a website to handle requests for compensation following last week's floods in Jeddah.
In Jeddah on Thursday, torrential rains caused flash floods, causing schools to close, flights to be delayed, traffic to be halted, and cars to be stranded.
Two people died as a result of the eight-hour rainfall, according to officials.
Saudi Civil Defence said the new website would accept damage claim applications.
They have to apply with relevant documents via the link https://my.998.gov.sa/damagereport/ without the need to show up in person.
