Coastal Areas Of Makkah May Experience Torrential Rain Until Thursday, According To NCM

Makkah and most other regions of Saudi Arabia will continue to receive moderate to heavy rains from Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of torrential rain and flash flooding on the coastal areas.

According to the weather report, hail, torrential rain, dust storms, and low visibility would accompany the rainy weather.

There is a possibility that moderate rains will hit Al-Mahd, Wadi Al-Fara, and Al-Hanakiyah in Madinah; Rafha in the Northern Borders Region; Hail, Baqa'a, Al-Ghazala, Al-Shanan, and most other governorates in Hail, as well as Al-Majmaa, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Shaqra, Remah, and Afif in Riyadh.

Asir regions such as Al-Namas, Balqarn, Al-Majaridah, Mahayil, Bariq, and Tanumah will receive rain, along with Faifa, Al-Khouba, Al-Ardah, Haroub, Al-Harth, and Al-Dair in Jazan.

In the Al-Baha region, it would also fall in Al-Baha, Baljurashi, Al-Mandaq, Al-Qura, Qalwa, and Al-Makhwah.

On Sunday night and Monday, moderate to heavy rains fell in most parts of Jeddah and other parts of Makkah.

As a result of the forecast of rain on Monday, all schools in Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais suspended in-person classes.
