The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a cautionary alert as the likelihood of thunderstorms continues across most regions of Saudi Arabia till Monday

Emphasizing the need for caution, the Civil Defense urges individuals to stay in safe locations during rainfall, avoiding water swamps, valleys, and areas prone to torrents. Swimming in such conditions is strongly discouraged.

It is essential to stay informed and adhere to instructions disseminated through various social media networks, as highlighted by the Civil Defense.

Anticipated weather conditions include light to moderate rain and active downward winds causing dust in regions such as Makkah, including the Holy Capital, Al-Jumum, Bahrah, Taif, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Maysaan, Al-Kamil, Al-Lith, and Al-Qunfudhah. Similar weather patterns are expected in the Madinah region, including Yanbu and Badr, as well as the areas of Al-Baha, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Border.

A text message from the Civil Defense, based on forecasts from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), indicates that the Makkah region, encompassing Jeddah, Khulais, Turabah, Al Muwayh, Rabigh, and Al-Khurma, is likely to experience light to moderate rain on Sunday.
