The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the start of the implementation of the new mechanism to receive domestic workers at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah Governorate, starting on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Recruitment offices and companies will be responsible for receiving and accommodating domestic workers who have mediated their recruitment during the period of the contract and those arriving on the exit and return system, as this mechanism, which was previously approved, was applied at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

The work mechanism will also be according to the following: Receiving domestic workers arriving for the first time by recruitment offices and companies immediately after completing the entry procedures by the ports sector, and receiving domestic workers arriving on the exit and return system by employers directly, and the task of receiving them is under the responsibility of the employer directly.

It is noteworthy that this mechanism and the amendments it entailed will be applied in a number of international airports inside the Kingdom, and the start date will be announced at that time.

The branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region launched a unit to oversee recruitment companies and offices at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Terminal 1 to provide the necessary services for female arrivals to work in the Kingdom from various countries of the world.
