The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques received a number of persons with disabilities to perform Umrah and pray at the Grand Mosque.
This happened at the same time of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, where a number of persons with visual disabilities were received to perform evening prayers and perform Umrah rituals in accordance with the precautionary and preventive measures at the Grand Mosque.
- They were received by the Assistant Undersecretary for Field Affairs at the Grand Mosque, Mr. Muhammad Batty, His Excellency the Director General of the Department of Persons with Disabilities, Mr. Faisal Al-Judi, the Director of the Department of Negative Phenomena, Mr. Bandar Khouj and the Deputy of Transport Services, Mr. Abdullah Al Juhani.
- All services and facilities were provided to them with the participation of many public administrations at the presidency, including the Department of Information and Communication, Crowd Management, Altwaj, Mobility Services, Watering Zamzam, volunteer work, social services, and security at the Grand Mosque, bracelets were distributed that help service providers cooperate with them. While they were in the Grand Mosque, the precautionary measures were applied by writing them in Braille for the blind, and distributing masks and sterilizers.
- People with disabilities expressed their great thanks for the services provided to them by the Kingdom's government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
