The Transport General Authority (TGA) in Saudi Arabia announced the adoption of a new identity for vehicles used in towing and transporting cars.

On vehicles involved in car transport and towing activities in the Kingdom, the new identity includes the unified color, the carrier's name and logo, the contact number, the license number, the operation card number, and other information required. The decision will take effect on 26th November, except for a period of one year for holders of valid operating cards.

- The Public Transport Authority explained that the adoption of the new identity for vehicles operating in the activity of transporting cars and towing vehicles comes with the aim of improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries and improving safety requirements during transport operations.

It was explained to the authority that the new identity will also allow for an increase in the organization and governance of the activity as well as its flight from concealment, resulting in an improvement of the quality and efficiency of the activity.

- The Saudi Public Transport Authority called on establishments and individuals working in the activity of transporting cars and towing vehicles to visit the website tga.gov.sa and refer to the regulation governing the activity and for more details and for inquiries or comments, the authority also provided the possibility of direct communication on 19929.
