Under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Friendly Settlement Department of the Riyadh Labor Office resolved a class action suit for resolution involving 67 Arab and East Asian workers.
According to Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, Director General of the Human Resources and Social Development Branch in Riyadh, the settlement of 45 workers involves the continuation of the labor relationship and the requirement that the employer hand over their work contracts.
The 22 workers terminated the labor relationship after receiving their financial dues and receiving their final exit visas, including their travel tickets.
The amicable settlement resolves disputes related to work contracts, salaries, work injuries, dismissal from work, and any disputes arising from the application of the work system.
