As Al-Habib explained in a Gulf Rotana program, committing racism through social media in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is punishable by a fine of 500,000 riyals and a year in prison.

According to him, schools are subject to a code of conduct set by the Ministry of Education regarding racism in schools. Racism at work and abuse of power are punishable under the Work system.

It is necessary to instill religious values in the child and raise awareness about feeling for the poor and charity from the beginning in order to discourage acts from occurring.

Abdullah bin Tariq Al-Habib, legal advisor and lawyer, explained the difference between racism and verbal abuse. On Gulf Rotana channel, verbal abuse is not considered racism, but racism can be considered psychological abuse.

- He clarified that ordinary insults, such as describing someone as bad, are not considered racism, stating that racism involves discrimination based on a person's race, color, or lineage.

The punishments for racism differ from country to country, but Saudi Arabia has put in place strict laws to combat it.
