The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia renewed its reminder about the allowed period after the expiry of the renewal of the vehicle's license (Istimara) without imposing a fine, highlighting that the duration of the license is 3 years.
In his inquiry, the citizen asked, How much is the fee for renewing a driver's license? How long is the period allowed after the license expires?
- The Traffic department through its Twitter in response to an inquiry from a Saudi citizen in this regard, stated that the license renewal fee is 300 riyals for a period of three years.
- The Traffic authority added that failure to renew the istimara in time and even after the expiry of the 60 day period, a fine of 100 riyals will be imposed for each year.
