The Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Care at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Khaled Al-Abdulkarim said that there are no specific diseases that prevent people from taking the Corona vaccine, but there are 3 excluded categories, which are pregnant women, children, and people with severe allergies.
Dr. Abdul-Karim said during his hosting of the "Ya Hala" program broadcast on "Rotana Khaleejia" that among these excluded groups are those with severe allergies to vaccines or to certain drugs that lead to breathing difficulties or going to the hospital. Noting that simple sensitivity does not prevent taking the Corona vaccine.
- He added that children were excluded from receiving the vaccine Because the scientific experiments of the vaccine did not test them, in addition to the fact that Corona did not affect children significantly.
- Abdul Karim indicated that pregnant women are not vaccinated until they are sure that it is safe for this group, explaining that there are no allergy tests before receiving the Corona vaccine.
- He pointed out that no strange or unexpected symptoms have been detected for the Corona vaccine, adding that the observed symptoms are normal and expected from any Another vaccine.
