Traffic Department Has Reminded Regulations For Taking Children In Vehicles

The Traffic department in Saudi Arabia has reminded of the regulations for taking children in vehicles, To ensure their safety.

In response to a question about the extent to which the violation has been proven if the child is in the front seat, the Saudi Traffic account said that children must be placed in the seats designated for them.

- Children cannot be placed with the companion in the front seat in order to preserve their safety. An escort requires that the passenger can use the back seat next to the child after he is placed in the designated seat. 

- A fine of 150 SR to 300 SR applies on anyone who drives a vehicle with a child on his lap. The children below 10 years of age are strictly prohibited from sitting in the front seat of the vehicle.

- According a recent survey conducted by INFINITI Middle East, A large number of people in the Kingdom do not have legal requirements for using child seat belts, the survey highlights the impact of parents on- road behavior on children. 

- Saudi Arabia has adopted a new traffic system, under which their is a penalty for not having car seat for children may lead you to fine between 300 SR to 500 SR.
